first pitches Sunday

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Former Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush will throw out ceremonial first pitches before Game 4 of the World Series on Sunday night.

The San Francisco Giants lead the Texas Rangers 2-0 in the best-of-seven series.

George W. Bush was managing general partner of the Rangers from 1989-94 and maintained partial ownership of the club until 1998, two years before he was elected the 43rd president.

1. A ceremonial fir? As in a tree?
Must be a small tree if they're gonna try to throw it.

6. no kidding.
I care little about baseball any more, but here's a big "Fuck You" to Texas.
Makes one almost yearn for the Yankees.

10. Another Reason To Root For A Giant's Sweep
And I'm an American League fan. Nothing satisfies me more than seeing a Texas team lose...even more than the dreaded Yankees. In 2005 it was an extra pleasure to see my beloved White Sox sweep the Astros and watch Poppy booosh and the quaker oats lady have the smiles wiped off their slimy faces. It'd be a pleasure to see that happen again...especially considering how Junior fleeced the Rangers and settle the team with debts that that would be a cause the team to go into bankruptcy.

Go Juan Uribe!! Go Aaron Rowand!!
