What Is This CNN Ticker About O'Donnell Surging in Polls? |
|
Kid you not. It's been on all day. By the way: Coons is so far ahead that he would not only not HAVE to resort to that 'Christine the Slut' story but WOULD NOT do it in case it backfired. You can bet this was pulled by her or GOP as last ditch effort to make women pity her. Anyway, I'd like to know what the hell is going on and what poll CNN is referring to....of course, they have been cheerleading like nuts for the GOP for months.

I've been doing a lot of switching around but I've never seen them explain this wacko statement at all. And, they are not flashing any other poll info on any other candidate. It's like it's a paid ad!!!!

it's probably sympathy due to the Gawker article about her bush. Which, BTW, Coons strongly denounced.
On edit: the article, not her bush. And I don't think she'll catch up with him, surge or no.

I'm wondering if this is what they are hinting at. Like I said, this was not done by Coons because he was sooooo far ahead of her. This was done by this bitch and/or GOP to get sympathy for her from women. I hope to God the women are not falling for this.

11. There are only 3 counties in the state of Delaware |

and most of the people live closest to dark dark blue Philadelphia so Coons should get it.
However if Mike Castle had been the nominee, he probably would have been a shoo-in.

|
Edited on Sat Oct-30-10 03:17 PM by Upton
which has her within 10% after previously having her 19% down.. http://www.monmouth.edu/polling/admin/polls/MUP37_DE_2.pdfOf course, being down by double digits with a couple days to go doesn't mean a damn thing, other than O'Donnell is still going to lose.

|
of this year's midterms, right up there with Angle in Nevada. But I don't think that's going to happen. However, if she polls anywhere over 40% I think we should all be embarrassed that someone this incompetent can attract that many votes anywhere in the U.S. What does that say about our country?

17. Angle and Reid are neck and neck |
|
In no small part to Reid having to own Congress' negative numbers. But O'Donnell is nowhere near Coons. I don't know if her polling decently says a whole lot. You can put a random name on the ballot, invented out of thin air with no real person behind it and if they are one of two candidates, they are going to get a decent percentage of the vote. While 'The Distinguished Gentlemen' (remember that? :)) wasn't the greatest film, it was cute that they poked fun at that phenomenon. Given Delaware's small size, she's not actually attracting very many votes (in raw numbers) anyway, even at 40 or so percent.

23. I suppose you're right |
|
in terms of raw numbers she really wouldn't be attracting that many votes in a small state--even with 40%. I just find it disturbing that a person who believes scientists have placed "fully functioning human brains" in mice could attract 20% of the vote--much less 40% or more--no matter how small the electorate. And I hope you're right about Nevada. I know Reid is still within striking distance, so hopefully he'll pull it out.

22. Palin is supposed to be here tomorrow campaigning for her. |
|
I hope the numbers are just wishful thinking. I think the news journal has an article today that mentions in passing that the Monmouth Univ poll, which had her 10 pts. behind leans GOP and has a 4 pt margin of error, where the Fairleigh Dickinson poll had her at 19 pts behind but leans Democratic with an 11 pt margin of error.

She's not going to win anyway, but when moderate America sees this and thinks people like her might be put in charge of this country, they'll get scared shitless and get out to the polls, pulling the lever for Democrats.
