O'Donnell: Maher apperances were a "ministry opportunity," God wants me in Congress, "Help me here."

Christine O'Donnell delved outside of politics on Friday, sharing some personal details with Christian Broadcasting Network's David Brody.

During the fluffy conversation, O'Donnell told Brody that she would never go bungie jumping, but that she did like running, as long as nobody makes fun of her for being slow.

"I'm not someone who's always planned her life for when I run for office one day, obviously, or I wouldn't have said all those things on TV," O'Donnell said. "In the 90s I looked at all of those TV opportunities as a ministry opportunity, as an opportunity to share my new-found faith with a television audience that otherwise would not be watching, you know when I would go on 'Politically Incorrect.' If I were planning to run for office in 10, 15 years I would have been much more guarded, not that I regret anything I've said."

"God you gave me this desire, you gave me this desire of my heart to serve the people of Delaware, to go in there and be your voice in Congress," O'Donnell continued. "Help me here."

10. Why does this idiot think God cares that much about the 2nd smallest state in the USA?
How many millions of children go to sleep hungry every night in this world?
How many families struggle to make ends meet and keep their family in a shelter that is safe?

I suspect God has bigger issues on his plate than the DE Senate race. Because clearly he hasn't answered O'Donnell's call.

Maybe it was the voices in her head she was hearing.....

11. Isn't it odd how all the republicans pee and moan that
God wants them to be this and that and the other. What kind of ignorant mind do they have that they think sane people would believe that they of all people talk to God. It just reinforces not only their ignorance but their thinking that they are better than the rest of us, mere mortals.

17. does she really hear something she thinks is God inside
....or does she make it up to appeal to religious right as she likely did claiming to have 'dabbled' in witchcraft to prove how close to God she is now by almost going to the other team. there is an minor industry out there of claimed to be former muslims who converted to christianity, 'ex'gays, & in the 80s & 90s former devil worshippers who toured the country speaking at churches & writing books.
