MoveOn.org phone banking--Easy, Fun, & Effective
I've been phone-banking thru MoveOn's website the last couple of evenings. If you haven't participated, I strongly encourage you to do so. The system is simple to use and since you will only be calling other Move On members, you know you will be talking to "friendly" folks.

This is a great get-out-the-vote activity for progressive candidates, even if you don't live in another state.

Or, just go to www.moveon.org and click the link "Start Calling from Home Now".

1. I got a call from a MoveOn guy earlier today
He was calling from California to bug me to go out and work for Patrick Murphy here in Pennsylvania. I took the local number and I guess I'll call them in the morning -- so it does work.

(Not that Murphy is as progressive as I'd like -- but he is on some issues, and he's way better than the alternative.)
