1. I don't do Halloween candy anymore. Since 1996, I've had exactly 7 groups come
up to my place.

3. It's so erratic where I live. One year I will run out, the next year only a few.
I hope I run out this year... I don't need this stuff laying around.

10. This has been in four different states - I've even spent the whole night outside to try to encourage
kids to come - but they're all in other neighborhoods.

8. Same here, but I haven't had even that many in that many years.
I live in the city but there really are no kids in my neighborhood. I had one little girl years ago come early in the evening and she was the only one and I wished afterwards that I'd given her a lot more, but I didn't know for sure.

I usually buy candy I like because I'll have to eat it, but I haven't bought any this year.

9. Unfortunately, I'm a diabetic, so eating it isn't an option I should take (though
I must admit that I've done it in the past).

until I got home. I tore the bag open in the car on the way home from the store. I cannot resist Reese's.

19. The minute I brought it home from the store.
My porch lights have been off all weekend and will stay off until at least Tuesday too. I'll feed any strays regular food or a meal if I have it, but the candy is my Halloween treat. Let them beg someone else's chocolate. Poor things best not get between me and the chocolate.

20. I'm thinking
every poll should have a "None of the above" selection.

I'm diabetic, too, but at Easter, Halloween, and Christmas, I'm gonna have to have a little candy. I'll take a little extra insulin and be good next week.

Sugar Babies. Yum. And 30 of them in a serving. They are so icky sweet that I can usually get by with eating just 10 of them, so not so bad.

That said, I haven't even seen the Halloween candy this year. Hubby bought it and I'm not even sure where he put it. That makes it easy. Just because I haven't had any doesn't let me claim to have willpower. You can't eat what you can't find. (Not that he's hidden it; I just haven't asked where it is. Better off that way. Will probably eat some as I'm handing it out tonight -- depending upon what he bought.)
