1. I was there too...
...actually, I was on the steps of the National Gallery (your second picture). I love the "if your beliefs fit on a sign..."

What a great day!

7. I was so
delighted that so many people took the time to create intelligent, funny, insightful, friendly and gracious signs...

"How about lunch after the Rally?"
"Just let me know if my sign is blocking your view. :-)"
"Green Tea Party"
"Hopeaholics Anonymous... President Obama, we have your back"

so many good ones

3. Watching it on the TV it was inspiring and the enthusiasm was great, and I

noticed all types of people were there, and one could feel a positive energy in the crowd for the good of mankind, not the negative stuff that gets so boring and lame. I liked one sign that read, "I know how to spell."

9. A great one I heard about but did not see was...
"you're entitled to your own opinion, but not your own spelling"

12. What's the word from the police?
Any difference between this crowd and attendees at *other* recent rallies?

Just curious. I'd like to think this was a more pleasant bunch to patrol.

13. I was at One Nation
and this one but not at Beck's. The Park Police were friendly and easy going at One nation... the Park Police on horses today were relaxed and friendly... lots of people talking to them and patting the horses

I must say that the energy was extremely positive and inspiring today... general unspoken agreement amongst people that we are all in this together and we had better stop the craziness
