1. Dunno, but CNN is running a Tea Party special.
We're not a movement because our powder needs to stay dry.

7. Did you watch it?
It was more of an expose and hit piece than a help to the tea partiers.

The Powers that Be do.

But we sure do have fun, don't we?

8. CBS said the Stewart/Colbert rally attracted "moderates."

The corporate media will stop at nothing to silence/downplay/minimize progressives.

Same shit, different day.

:nuke: the corporate media.

9. But of course
Stewart was exactly who the administration meant when they said the "professional left", so the WH does not consider him a moderate.

The positions espoused on his show are are strong progressive positions, not moderate, centrist, DLC in the least.

10. I think calling something a 'movement'
describes something that is actually happening, as opposed to an ideology or theory. This may be why RW is hesitant to use this term describing progressives--but they did use this term describing the teabaggers because they wanted to create a movement. It works both ways.

Just my observation, hope I am making sense :)

15. Alro tells you how to start a movement

You can get
anything you want, at Alice's restaurant.". And walk out. You know, if
one person, just one person does it they may think he's really sick and
they won't take him. And if two people, two people do it, in harmony,
they may think they're both faggots and they won't take either of them.
And three people do it, three, can you imagine, three people walking in
singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and walking out. They may think it's an
organization. And can you, can you imagine fifty people a day,I said
fifty people a day walking in singin a bar of Alice's Restaurant and
walking out. And friends they may thinks it's a movement.
