Co-worker: I'm a Libertarian
"Basically, that means I'm a progressive conservative. I believe in small government but also universal health care."

This from a genius who nearly got fired last week for watching Hot Tub Time Machine during work hours. Which nobody would have even known about if he hadn't bragged to everybody in the office.

Dork.

1. This is a confused individual.
Maybe he'd better get back into the hot tub.

8. Seriously.
My other 2 favorite parts of the conversation:

"Us Libertarians can agree with pretty much anybody politically. We kind of cover the spectrum."

and

"I'm just a few college credits away from a degree in political science, you know."

Yeah. Right.

:dunce:

2. Par for the course.
Libertarianism is a political philosophy for ten-yr-olds.

4. Well to be honest libertarians are just pissed off R's who threw a temper tantrum after 1970
when Nixon didn't get them a red wagon and pony after they elected him and stopped calling themselves repuglican'ts. The proof of that is their great leader Ron Paul who claims he is a libertarian yet is a member of the repuglican't party and used the excuse that he couldn't win his seat under the libertarian banner. I figured out libertarians a long long time ago, they are pot smokers who want the right to smoke pot while stopping anyone else from enjoying pot smoking. They are full of big ideals about government but their actions speak louder then their words. As they always vote on the R ticket and march lock step with the R's unless the R agenda doesn't go far enough to screw other citizens.

11. And then there's the more recent wave of 'libertarians'
You know, the ones who are trying to escape accountability after GWB completed the job of ruining the Republican brand. These same people are also 'teabaggers', pretending they're not the same old bunch who flushed our country down a toilet. But they're promoting the same old failed ideologies and saying the same old things as before. Go figure.

7. Not a "Dork".
That's unfair to dorks, I think.

This genius in your office is a dick, asshole, things like that.

I'm often a dork, I'll do dorky things, but they're harmless and silly.

This one's just a hole.

:P
