Today I attended a Honor Flight homecomming...
Edited on Sun Oct-31-10 05:32 PM by Earth_First
It was an emotionally overwhelming experience to say the least.

Nearly 250 family members, friends and members of the media welcomed home 44 World War II veterans from their (completely free) trip to Washington, D.C. to visit the World War II memorial.

On this particular trip, every veteran from the Battle of the Bulge from Rochester, N.Y. were in attendance on this mission.

I'll tell you, I could listen to these brave men and women all day long about the stories that many are ready and willing to share with joyful pride.

Very moving, I encourage everyone to support this grand organization...
