The Spokesman-Review of Spokane, Wash., citing unidentified sources, reported on its Web site that Hamilton had an Aryan Nations membership card, as well as a flag, and had been a dues-paying member since 2000 - four years before the death of Aryan Nations founder Richard Butler.

The 36-year-old janitor, who moved from the Boise area a few years ago, fatally shot himself in a Presbyterian church after killing his wife, a police officer and a church sexton and wounding three other men, authorities said.

I doubt an apology is forthcoming, don't you live in Boise?

The ID card story turns out to be true. After looking at KREM tv, KTVB, the Spokane review, and the Idaho Statesman sites late last night, none referenced this. It's on the front page of the Statesman this morning.

He had a membership long before they were kicked out of the state, and apparently thought he could serve as the Idaho chapter or something. The guy was certifiably nuts, and I'm sure most of them have mental "issues".

How about a comment or yes, an apology, for your claim that "there is a huge group of them here"?? There doesn't even seem to be a tiny group of them remaining, if you have followed the news here since 2001. Were you feeling the need to embellish your story a bit?

28. Comment and a question

I see confederate flags every single time I drive through the Bonner's Ferry, ID area. Not just every now and then but every time. Ten miles from Pullman, WA, on the Idaho border there are 4 houses that fly confederate flags every day.

Now a question, what do you think happened to all the guys in the north Idaho when it got shut down? Were they raptured? Did they disappear? Did Idaho make them move to another state? Did they just go a little deeper into the surrounding communities?

13. That is just what exactly happened to a armed shopper

who tried it out with a gunman who wanted to do a massacre at The Tacoma Mall last year. He ended up getting shot and paralyzed. What some gun owners don't realize that people with death wishes and want to take out many don't care, and are determined to take you out also. I wonder what Mr. Macho John Derbyshire of National Review Online thinks now? I hope for the best with the young man.

is if you start shooting it out with a bad guy and the police show up and shoot you are you going to sue? I mean the police don't know who's the good guy and who's the bad guy. Unless they wear white hats.

They were bankrupted by a civil suit to the tune of $6.3 million and forced to sell their 20 acre compound in 2001. They moved their mailing address to a midwest state.
