Unlike our so-called Democratic "representatives", who usually vote AGAINST their supporters.

Today, Dems in Congress voted AGAINST their supporters -- giving W a blank check and no timetable on a war everyone hates. Here's some of the reaction on DU:

Speaker Pelosi, lead or step out of our way. We The People are coming to IMPEACH THIS CHARLATAN.

(half a million votes, 88% in favor. Earth to Nancy?!?)

So...whatever happened to that 'message' we sent to D.C. last Nov.?

I don't get it. We won in 2006. We sent a message. An MSNBC on-line poll says 88% favor impeachment. 70% favor getting out of Iraq. Bush is setting records as one of the most unpopular presidents in history (28% approval rating). Jimmy Carter (a DEM!) called Bush the worst president in history. Gore won the popular vote. Dozens of Repuke reps are running from prosecution -- or already in jail. A quarter of the States in the Union (and many towns) have passed measures favoring impeachment.

And STILL the Dems in Congress vote AGAINST The People.

What the hell is going on here?

What is it going to take to get DEM leaders to support DEM voters?

And -- why the hell should we bother supporting THEM any more, if they don't support US?

Like I said, it must be fun being a Republican. At least you get what you pay for and/or vote for.

Democratics, all we get is kicked in the teeth.

And then Dems wonder why they get called "weak" or "soft".

Well, I guess if you're too weak to oppose the weakest President in history -- maybe you really ARE too weak to protect the country against terrorists.

So thanks again, Dem members of Congress. Thanks for getting my hopes up again and then screwing me over again. Thanks for playing into all Karl Rove's framing saying that you have no principles and can't be trusted and are soft and weak and flip-floppers.

Thanks Dems -- for supporting the Republicans.

As far as I'm concerned, the Dems in Congress are (almost) all a bunch of fucking Liebermans. (Every single one of them who caved into Bush on this Iraq Occupation funding/timetable bill.)

(PS - For those who say "Bush can still fund the war" I say -- let HIM fund it! Let him fund it on his own by defunding senior citizens or healthcare or education or whatever. Don't HELP him.)

2. Mahoney doesn't get it
My Blue Tick DINO Congressman from FL16 (Folley's old district) is going to get educated. Given his voting record I have nothing to lose voting Republican next year.

3. Republicans never have supported their voters, unless you
are in the top 1% of wage earners.
