Anyone else get a text message asking you to vote
and offering information on where your polling place is? I'm pretty sure I got it because I was originally on Obamas' text message list. I think the Dems have a good ground game going at the national level to get out all of the first time voters who supported Obama.

2. Yes.
Use the technology.

I wouldn't be surprised to get another text around 5 today - just to make sure I'm voting :)

I know where my polling place is. I live across the street from it, but I responded even so to see if they had it right. They did. They'll probably use the responses as a real time measure of how successful the GOTV effort is.

7. I got a postcard in the mail from him - telling me where
my polling place was located. That was actually helpful. I didn't get the text message because I got a new cell number last year.

8. Yes. I have gotten many from volunteering for
Organizing For America to early voting rules and dates to GOTV today. I'm leaving soon to do my small part.

9. I have a repub relative.
The other day she stated that she was so annoyed at the constant calls about voting for Gerlach that she doesn't even know if she'll vote. Was I being bad when I kept my mouth shut rather than encouraging her to do her civic duty?
