You won't be able to convince me that Trump's stupid feud with Rosie
didn't end up costing him. Good Riddance to you and the bad hair you rode in on.

NBC left The Apprentice off of its 2007-08 schedule last week, and now it appears Donald Trump is moving on as well.

In a statement released to Reuters, Mr. Trump says he is "moving on from The Apprentice to a major new TV venture," which would seem to indicate the sixth outing, which ended in April with Stefani Schaeffer the victor, would be the show's last.

When the network announced its lineup for next season last week, The Apprentice was conspicuous by its absence. At the time, NBC Entertainment president Kevin Reilly said the issue was one of finding a place on the schedule. Mr. Reilly said that NBC and the show's producers had until June 1 to strike a deal to bring the series back.

After debuting to big ratings in 2004 – it averaged more than 20 million viewers in its first season – the show declined significantly in its most recent incarnations. The latest, set in Los Angeles, drew 7.5 million viewers per week.

1. Maybe the show just sucked and the ratings weren't there? We KNOW
money/ratings talk.

5. A lot of people love Rosie
Regardless of what the pundits say. The ratings for The View skyrocketed and will most likely plummet just as fast. Those viewers who love Rosie would most likely turn off The Apprentice over that little spat.
I never watched The Apprentice since I don't like reality shows anyway...so I can't comment on the suckiness of it. But then again, I don't watch The View either.

2. Trump just may be the richest idiot in the world.
But, his Dad sure did help him along the way. The Donald did not start out as a poverty stricken little lad.

9. LOL but he's got competition
People that know how to make money are good at it but may not always be good at being a smart human.

3. maybe but really even for fans of his show i would think he'd get awful tiresome
awfully fast.

when you have to tell everyone how rich you are and how first rate everything they have is it's makes a person wonder how deep in debt Trump is really in, i'd say pretty deep.

4. I'm sure he's crying in his beer
He probably even feels some satisfaction in knowing she'll be gone as he moves on to other worlds to conquer.

7. If You Want To Believe Things That Aren't True, Who Am I To Stop Ya?
Fact is, 'The Apprentice' has lost viewers steadily each season since the first, and this season was no different. The ratings drops were there before any 'Rosie' feud even existed. The show had its day and that would be apparent to just about anybody. If you want to attribute this to Rosie somehow because that would fit your own personal reality better, so be it. But in the real world it's pretty readily acknowledged that the Rosie fiasco would've had nada to do with this impending event.

8. I highly doubt it was the feud with Rosie. The show (and Trump) sucked in its own right.

The Apprentice seemed like an interesting concept, but quickly became shrill and silly.

And everything about Trump screams "bad boss."

10. I believe that Trump actually started this feud with Rosie
on purpose just to suck off of her ratings in hopes that he could get enough publicity to save his loser tv series.
