6. I can think of a number of governors races where that holds true, as well.

My own state, South Carolina, for example. And, our neighbors to the west, Georgia. Blatant corruption, but they have an "R" after their name, and that's all that matters.

Funny how that meme is flying out the window, now that the reality of Republican governance is smacking some in the face. Lots of people are getting the government they asked for, or the government they said they had all along.

of what Bush and his Congress was like. Like it was fun and roses then? And these SENIORS voting for the very people who want to end Social Security and Medicare, well, they need their heads examined.

ETA: We should not be contending with $$$ in order to gain representation but that is what we are up against. And $$$ is winning. Did you see that returns were three times higher than expected. People voted today--for our side. But for 13 months we have been TOLD that we will lose, WHY we will lose and now we lose--all to mask the (IMHO) fraud that led to many of these gains.
