Will Monica be under oath?
There are fundamentalists that do not take oaths, ever. Is she one of that ilk? I found this at Talkleft regarding "compromising one's integrity" for a client...

Liberty integrates the moral and religious roots of the rule of law into every class discussion, an approach Staver calls "law plus." That came through during a recent "Lawyering Skills" class when professor Rodney Chrisman presented a case and then asked his students whether they would compromise their integrity on behalf of a good client. "The Bible says a good name is a greater treasure than silver and gold." Chrisman told them.

So, Will she tell the truth? Or will she parse?

Who are her lawyers? Who's paying them? Who has been helping her "prepare" for today?

1. Doesn't matter
Any testimony given to Congress is automatically under oath.

3. The potential
penalties are the same. It's much like the infamous Mr. Libby: he was charged with lying to federal investigators (not under oath), and of lying to the grand jury (under oath). Same level of legal charges and consequences.
