CA Proposition 25 passes
I am giddy... this should put a stop to the damn budget gridlock in this state. And trust me they FOUGHT against it. Not needed 2\3 to pass it means... the MINORITY no longer controls the process.

8. The J. Brown win could be
huge nationally. He's got the smarts, the experience, and the gravitas. Brown will be a great leader.

2. Yeah, this isn't getting much discussion today, but it's HUGE
For the first time since Prop 13 passed in the 1970's, the Rethugs no longer have veto power over the state budget! :woohoo:

California Democrats need to work hard to turn this state into a shining example of success over the next couple of years. Let's show America what it lost by electing teabaggers and rethugs.

Man the Dems here did a great job countering all the ads for 23.

11. We don't control of redistricting though.
Prop 26 passed so repukes will be able to blocked some good pieces of legislation.
