These emails clearly indicate that even if we don't get Karl under oath directly, Ralston would still have the goods, as everything was apparently routed through her.

She offered to spill her guts for immunity, and Waxman said "no thanks, I've got plenty for now".

Woo-hoo! So, are they ever going to go after KKKarl, or are they just letting him sweat while he knows what they have on him?

23. Every grant of immunity is preceded by a 'proffer' of what the witness will 'provide', in this case

Ralston has made an initial proffer in her request for immunity that does not 'give' enough for the committee to consider granting her immunity.

You should not consider this the final word on whether Ralston will get her grant of immunity.

Ralston will have to provide more evidence, clearly in her possession and her knowledge, that advances the Committee's goal of getting to the bottom of this and other scandals that have already been established through other individuals and evidence.

IMHO Ralston and her attorneys will continue to 'package more and more evidence which she can give' to the Committee in exchange for the immunity grant she seeks. At some point, Ralston will 'give' enough to get what she wants. Hopefully, the point at which she obtains immunity will require her to tell all she knows fully and truthfully under oath.

The Committees will be well-served not to give out immunity grants willy-nilly to someone who obviously was directly involved in scandalous conduct and knows so much about the conduct of higher officials in directing the illegal conduct which forms the basis of the scandal.

And let's not forget that while Susan Bonzon Ralston was hooking up Abramoff et al with the WH et al, DoJ's Alice S. Fisher, a recess appointee by the Decider, was put in charge of the Abramoff prosecution-despite numerous objections.

Alice was a former HCA (Frist et al) lobbyist, she had worked on the DeLay defense, she also was co-chair of the National Procurement Fraud Task Force with Paul McNulty-and she is on record as being one with AGAG when it comes to torture and the quaintness of things like the Geneva Convention.

I'm pretty sure Alice and Susan communicated using alternative means.

I despise these loyal Bushie, universal nazi "money trumps peace" criminals.
