Welcome to the Next Two Years of GOP Investigations |
|
snip To Review: The Obama Administration didn't go after Bush Administration officials because it was "looking back instead of forward" or something, even though a lot of people wanted them to do that. It's good to know that that has meant NOTHING in terms of political capital. snip Anyway, here are the new Whitewaters: http://gawker.com/5680666/welcome-to-the-next-two-years-of-gop-investigations?skyline=true&s=i

1. Republicans only look back |
|
back to the days when they where actually relevant and not just screaming lunatics, who are only able to grab power because of their news channel and their corporate masters spending billions of dollars.

2. the president knows he is rational - they are NOT, and why he thinks that party, the party of No, is |
|
going to be rational and work with him, well... I hope this is some new version of 3-dimensional chess, because they're going to continue their assault on the people, and try to push the policies of their dark lords, the energy giants of the world, and all the corporations who own them.
I liked his long press conference, but I felt like he was about to cry, and I was telling people at the Dem HQ party I was at, that today he was going to realizing some harsh realities that he THOUGHT he'd be okay with, but didn't until he woke up realizing they were going to take the House back, and make it even harder to get anything through by weakening our majority.
I just don't want him to compromise anything with them so easily or before they even begin talking!!!

3. I don't really think they'll dare. |

It makes a good rallying cry for pumping up their base but I've never met a GOP strategist who didn't think it hurt them the way they dogged Clinton. It'll happen if Crazy-eyes Bachmann steals the speakership from the Oompa-Loompa but she'll run the GOP advance aground in the effort.

Why on earth would this be a bad thing for us? Doofuses fulimating on television about stupid nonsense that no one is interested in will help Democrats in a major way.

then they will lose, big time.
The people want results, not investigations.
If the GOP hasn't learned their lesson, then they will lose again in 2012.
