Ah yes...the ol' Sell gas by the litre because Americans are mostly too ignorant to figure out the metric system! trick.

I remember that one from the first 'gas crisis'...when gas went from a quarter to fifty cents. Some places started selling it 'by the liter'...until some smartass (wasn't me...was still in high school then) pointed out in the local paper that Hello! There's about 4 liters to a gallon!
so that maybe thirty-three cents a liter wasn't such a bargain after all. :blush:
