http://www.rawstory.com/rs/2010/11/gop-investigate-scientific-fraud-global-warming-report/

I read this bullshit and I literally saw red!!!

We have:

1. Two fucking useless, immoral wars;

2. Unemployment to nearly the status of breadlines;

3. People dying for lack of medical care;

4. Animals dying because of changes in their habitats...

and these idiot RW bastards wish to please their corporate owners that gave them the House and they wish to PROVE global warming is a fraud so that the robber barons do NOT have to lose profits to environmental protection laws.

Fuck them...fuck them all with an (R) after their names.

Rant off.

5. FoxGOP is going to make us
the laughing stock of the world.

This is a bunch of BS. Instead of spending time and money trying to disprove global warming as the artic melts, they need to be focusing on their "jobs miracle".

The make me want to puke.

9. And So It Begins...
To those who think there's no difference in parties. Stay tuned.

If you thought the money being thrown around this election cycle was bad, just wait...and it's starting already. I'm torn between what it is...a plutocracy or an outright kleptocracy.

11. Been Here All My Life...
We've just upped the ante big time. While many of us here see it and it frustrates and angers no end, we just saw that there are plenty of people willing to vote against their own interests (or not vote at all) who either don't or refuse to. For a rare moment there looked like we might be able to break that grip or at least ease it but the greed and corruption is so systemic it's fought back with a vengence. Wish I could come up with a simple cure-all, but we're now a country of nothing but special interests.

Cheers...

12. My hero as a child? FDR...
Edited on Thu Nov-04-10 09:40 AM by Hepburn
...he did the right things for the American people. Where in the hell is someone like him today?

Peope are hungry, homeless, doing without medical care. For two years now, our elderly and disabled on SS are going without an increase.

But fucking corporate profits are up...:puke:

And the idiots keep voting these bastards in and expecting things to get better???

Betting that this nation is so corporate fucked now that FDR would be defeated and if in office? Some asshole RW would try to impeach him.

The world...now upside down...and nothing looks like it will change.

13. Interesting Observation From Doris Kearns-Goodwin
She was on with Stephen Colbert the other night and noted that FDR's polio had a profound affect on him in having empathy for the poor and dowtrodden. My parents were "Depression kids" and I grew up with the stories of living on next to nothing and becoming resourceful...something I feel motivated their generation that is desperately missing today.
