Poll question: Has Keith Olbermann been 'Shustered?'
Edited on Fri Nov-05-10 02:32 PM by onehandle
David Shuster was 'suspended indefinitely.' And that was that.

However, Keith was 'suspended indefinitely without pay.' Does that indicate a difference? Maybe just a punishment?

David is under contract until the end of 2010. Keith is under contract through 2012.

2. Other - Suspended temporarily as a way of maintaining an appearance of impartiality
They'll administer some token punishment, and he'll be back on the air within a week.

4. What Kieth did was wrong
and potentialy damaging to MSNBC. I think the ball is in kieths court. If he digs in his heels we will likely never se him again if he is willing to admit his mistake and move forward I think we will see him back soon.

Keith will not take kindly to being in limbo.
Considering MSNBC lets Joey Scar to donate because he's a "commentator" and Keith can't because he's a "journalist", I'd say Keith's busy with his lawyers right now. If he isn't, he certainly should be.

9. I imagine that Scar and Keith each have their own contract with their own terms.
If you don't like the terms in your contract, don't sign it.
