6. Yes apparently using an elected majority to pass a bill is now known as "ramming down our throats". |
|
But of course that will change now that the Republicans have the majority. Now it will be the democratic process - unless of course, it doesn't pass the Senate or Obama vetos it - then it will be "thwarting the will of the people."

They loved to use that phrase with healthcare which took months and months to pass and was amended during the process. On the other hand, TARP, an amendment to a bill passed in July of that year, was voted on oct 1 and passed the senate, voted on and passed the house one oct 3rd and ended up being signed that night, in only 3 days repukes spend 700 billion! Which one would you say was 'rammed down our throats'?
Best part of that whole thing is that it was passed the day after they passed the budget for that year so they can go around saying their deficit was only a few hundred billion instead of nearly a trillion which is what it actually was. It was very sneaky what they did.

11. That's how they roll. |

We might despise them (and I sure do), but credit where credit is due - they don't play. When it comes to politics, they understand it's war. Do we understand that? Politics is literally WAR, period. It's not for the faint of heart.
