Did Keith Do This On Purpose To Make A Point?........... |
|
I was just listening to Norman Goldman on the radio here in Chicago. He is outraged by this and has mounted a campaign to call, mail and e-mail MSNBC and the guy who suspended Keith. But he said something that made me think the maybe Keith did this on purpose to make a point.
Goldman said that if Keith was Keith Inc. - if he incorporated - he could have made these contributions in complete anonymity just like the corporations and Rove under the Citizens United ruling.
Again I ask the question - did Keith do this on purpose to make that point.
Just a thought.

2. I think you may have something there |
|
there MUST be 'more to this story'. Keith is not stupid enough to wreck his own career with a simple 'oversight', I will never believe he did this with total disregard of the possible blowback. It's just too weird for me to process... glurk

3. I'm kind of wondering why he didn't just let his gf make donations or whatever |
|
If he was concerned about being "in trouble," he made no attempt to hide it, which would have been really easy to do.

Me thinks he was pissed J Stew had MSNBC next to faux. Was looking for a way to make a statement. Probably the wrong statement if they want ratings. I done with that station.

6. Yes - you would have to think Keith is an idiot to not know the rules and the scrutiny |
|
he was setting himself up for.
It's hard to tell if it's a political point they're making or just looking for some cheap/easy publicity after the election but this story definitey sounds contrived.

7. I think it is possible |

I think Keith has been discouraged by the lack of fight that the Democrats as a whole have shown, and I think the Jon Stewart false equivalence might have him thinking "do I want to do this anymore?"
