LAUGHTER in the backround.

This hearing is actually getting good. She's a damn lousy liar.

1. She has 3 lawyers with her, geez..... She thinks if she blathers on and on
to eat up the time that it will help her. It won't. I love the Repukes getting mad because Davis and Ellison are cutting her off... Good stuff.

2. I'm really searching for pity for her
She's my age. I can't find any. What's wrong with me?

4. Nothing wrong with you- she doesn't deserve any.
She's 33, not 13. She's plenty old enough to be held accountable
for her treasonous criminal actions.

If she was REALLY cooperating and trying to expose the crimes committed,
she might deserve MERCY.

But "pity"? I don't think so.

5. However
because she's a Republican, if she runs for office in the future, she can call her criminal activity a "youthful indiscretion"

6. Hopefully, a nice perjury conviction will preclude her ever running.
Hey, I can DREAM, can't I?

8. Yeah, that's pretty much how I feel
I'm just disgusted at the GOP fawning over Regent University. What was that? Some kissass appeal to the fundies?

14. Not an appeal to fundies; some CYA now that their agancy-packing SCAM is being exposed.
They are DESPERATE to prop up the lie that Regent is a great school.
Because it isn't.

It's a real fourth rate school.
A fundamentalist, bible-based law school. One that is
on a not-secret-at-all "mission" to turn the USA into
a Falwellian "Christian Nation" by whatever means necessary.

REPUTABLE Law Firms try hard not to SNICKER when they see
"Regent University" on a job application.
This misAdministration, however, has seen fit to pack 150
Regent grads into the Dept. of Justice.

It's not a law school so much as one of the biggest training
programs for eager low-level Repub drones.

3. One of her lawyers is doing a damn good Charles Laughton impression.
The fat guy in the old version of Hunchback of Notre Dame.

7. Hey, just because the person in question is liberal doesn't mean
she's a Demorat - she could be a Green, or a Libertarian, or a Communist, or an Athiest or a Satanist (they have their own parties, don't they?).

13. Whoops.
Definitely a typo. Slip of the finger.

But I must say, I have seen (on that 'other' site) us refered to as demoncrats.

11. I just loved that comment, you know?
I really did.

She might as well have said, "I'm a poor liar, so brace yourselves for this one,
because it's a freakin WHOPPER".

And then the slightly delayed ripple of LAUGHTER from the back of the room
was just icing on the cake.

Almost makes me hope that some sort of JUSTICE might eventually be served.

Almost. We'll see.

12. The fact that a person is a liberal makes them a non-GOPer.

10. Did she think it meant that the woman buttered her toast liberally?

I'm not an expert on "liberal," and I just can't say what it might mean.

16. The laughter is from GOPers: she just smacked the Dems for caving on the war
That was the point of that: today, being a Democrat is very far from being a liberal.
