Don't know what happened to make the splotches, but he is really splotchy. Threw a fit over this pict being used when there were so many other good ones. Good book too.

Supposedly O'Reilly had a cow over the picture - if you look at the amazon link, you can see what looks to be red splotches on his face.

Granted, it's not easy to make O'Reilly look like anything better than scum of the earth... but, Franken certainly didn't do him any favors with his choice of pictures. :evilgrin:

And, I never would have read the book if it wasn't for O'Reilly threatening a suit against Franken! I didn't even realize there was much of a progressive voice out there until I read that book, which inspired me to use The Google to find left of center voices on those tubes that make up the internets... which eventually led me to DU in October of 2003.

25. i really have enjoyed Al's books, they are endlessly entertaining and full of useful

information. I really hope he can win that seat. I've sent him money already and my birthday is coming up in July so when my husband asked me what i wanted i told him "a donation to Al's campaign!"
