My little project...
I sent the following message to Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid:

Lance Corporal Benjamin Delisets of Elmwood, Illinois died in Iraq yesterday. He was 21 years old.

He died because you, (Rep. Pelosi/Sen. Reid) are a coward. You wouldn’t or couldn’t do your job, and Benjamin Delisets paid with his life.

This is your war now.

My little project is that every day I will visit the Iraq Coalition Casualties website and select the name of a GI killed in action the previous day. And then I'll send a reminder to Ms. Pelosi and Mr. Reid. Every day. Five days a week. Until this outrage stops.

Please join me.

Harry Reid: http://reid.senate.gov/contact/email_form.cfm

2. A good idea...
By my congressional "represenative" is Jim Sensenbrenner who couldn't possibly give two shits who dies. On the plus side, Russ Feingold is one of my Senators, and you know where he stands. I think Herb Kohl could use some friendly encouragement.

3. I want to find something that represents each death
like sending them 3450 pennies or little white crosses. I want each of them to see and feel the number of families destroyed by their inaction. I like the idea of sending them empty pairs of shoes or setting out 3400+ pairs of shoes somewhere in DC for the people that will never be back.

I believe it was at Camp Casey down in Crawford where they placed pairs of empty combat boots as a memorial. The photo below if seom a similar memorial in Washington, D.C.
