WTF??? I mean WTF...WTF, man? WTF was that?
Does anyone know WTF is going on this week? I sure as hell don't know WTF is going on. This all looks like a whole lotta bullshit to me.

And on top of anyone else, will someone tell me why Mr Conyers, whom I respect, was calling 'questions' answers and answers 'questions'? I've sat thru expert testimony depostitions related to extracted teeth that were more pointed and hostile than that 'grilling'.

Remarkable.

WTF

2. And what did she get immunity for, exactly?
Usually, there's some kind of give and take in an immunity agreement. What did she give?

5. Guess where congress refers perjury charges.
I'm betting that she's not particularly concerned.

6. Perjury for WHAT?
She didn't say anything. If you listen to all the parsing and equivocation, she said absolutely nothing worth discussing at all whatsoever.

10. I'm intrigued when blogslut calls me 'silly'...
but that's for another time

Who could be charged with perjury FROM any statement she made? She didn't say anything. That's my point I guess...

12. She said
and I paraphrase.

Q: When AG Gonzales said in his May testimony that he never saw as list...

A: Oh, he saw a list...

Q: When AG GOnzales testified that he never went to a meeting concerning the firing of the USAs...

A: Oh, he went to a meeting...

Then they got her to tell them that Gonzo basically coached her on how to testify...

15. I heard that and...
defy anyone to assert here that the Dems will be able to make that stick. We can't even get them to admit that Osama and Saddam weren't ideological bedmates, and that there were no WMD's.

14. I think she said quite a lot.
Basically, she said that both Gonzales and McNulty lied to congress, that she quit her job because she thought Gonzales wanted her to lie to congress, and admitted that political affiliation was used in hiring and firing at Justice, in violation of the law.

7. I think today went great
Today, the committee basically proved that Gonzales lied in his May 10 testimony.

That will not sit well when the vote No Confidence vote comes up.

Besides, we'll have at least a week of Abu, running around telling everyone he's not a crook liar. And all those winger sycophants will be wasting time on teevee trying to cover his exposed ass.

:)

16. Ooh, a no-confidence vote!
Maybe they'll go all-out and "chastise" Gonzalez, just like they "chastised" Goodling for not producing documents as ordered.

Scorching, huh?

Too bad they didn't have time to actually go through the documents.

OTOH, at least she didn't do an Alito and get all weepy.

11. Does Conyers seem well to the rest of you?
This man was incisive. Now his sentences seem disconnected. I realize he must be under extreme stress with the sheer amount of criminality that must be exposed. Is it possible that it's affected his health?

26. Thank you for your concern.
Rep. Conyers undoubtedly feels guilty for not being able to do everything that needs to be done, having been a beacon of hope and responsibility for six years of utter darkness, but my worry is that he IS trying to get it all done, and his efforts are taking too great a toll.

But your obscene suggestion never crossed my mind. Nor will it.
