Does it really matter that Aung San Suu Kyi is free? |

Don't get me wrong here. She is an amazing, courageous person and I am happy for her sake that she is free. But what difference does it make? The moment she steps out of line, they'll either throw her in jail or put her back under house arrest. The thugs who run the country already made it clear they would sooner mow down a street full of monks before shedding one bit of power and it's not a country high on the US government's priority list. Should we honestly expect anything to change?

1. I'm afraid she was released only to make it easier to kill her |

and blame it on someone else. She really needs to be careful.
