13. you'd be surprised how many people
registered as Democrats for JFK and never switched eventhough they sound like partisan republicans today. I know a few of those.

and a general response to the thread, I don't know how 75% still support bush. I can't hardly find anyone that will admit to supporting him repub or democrat.

i've visited them occasionally because i'm registered as one. the glazed eyes tend to be a rather telling sign. it's literally a cult around an abusive daddy figure.

9. 75% of Republicans still have their head up their ass. Common sense
is not a republican trait. These stupid fruitcakes still think Iraq moved those WMD's. I got into an argument with one yesterday who thinks they moved those WMD's out of the country of Iraq before the invasion. I said to him, common sense should have told you after the first few days into the war they didn't have WMD's, because they didn't use them against an invading army. I said, what were they saving them for, a rainy day? He replied, you fucking liberals don't make any sense. I said that's because you have your head up your ass and can't see the obvious. Then to further confuse this bush-bot, I then asked him if Bush was going to change the name of the Department of Defense to the Department of Offense! I also said if we are fighting terrorists over there because they will follow us home, does that mean that Bush hasn't done a damn thing to protect our borders? He again said, that doesn't make sense..

11. The bu$h bots are as geography challenged as bu$h and
think the terrorists are also.
So the only way the terrorist can find us is to follow us back home. That is the real reason the repugs want to keep the war going.
However, the bu$h bots don't understand that the terrorists are smart enough to not only read a map, but have access to the internet with Map Quest and Google maps.
I really think being conservetive is a serous mental health issue.

15. My friend was talked about like a dog at her daughter's (R) cook out
when she walked out of the room.
She heard comments like "She's one of them"
Her daughter told the Mother in law, "We just can't discuss politics, it suprises me how stupid she is"
They said her Liberal friends are nothing but a bunch of "fruits"

BRAINWASHED!!

How rude. Her daughter should be ashamed of herself that she sat there and let folks insult her MOTHER. Republicans have absolutely no class whatsoever.

14. My boss is a bush bot
He still supports that moran. Not only supports him, but on more than one occasion has told me how BRILLIANT he thinks Bush is.
He thinks that Bush is doing a fantastic job; that the "liberal media" is just not reporting all the good things going on in Iraq.
He also supported the Swift boat fuckers and their smear job on John Kerry during the 2004 election. Said John Kerry didn't bleed enough!
WTF????????
I have worked in the same office as this fool ten hours a day, for four years. Having DU to turn to has truly been a lifesaver!:loveya:

20. Has it ever occurred to him that maybe the reason the "liberal" media
 isn't reporting all the good things going on in Iraq just might be because THERE ISN'T ANYTHING GOOD GOING ON IN IRAQ? :banghead: :argh: If everything in Iraq was coming up roses, doesn't this moran think that the "liberal" media  would be all over it like flies on shit and more than eager to report it? :dunce:

25. It isn't just his problem. It's ours.
The high percentage of Americans who are ignorant Fox Noise viewers with exactly these same beliefs (they all believe and say the same talking points, word for word, like machines) is a disgrace to America and a signal of our doom. A modern nation simply cannot survive with a population that as a group believes in angels but not evolution, the Rapture but not global warming, and the perfection and infallibility of the worst president in our history.

If I believed the lies and false beliefs that these people accept so unquestioningly, I would probably share their opinions. But I don't. And I don't.

17. That figure might actually be good news in disguise.
The Bush*-supporting contingent might be higher within the Republican Party due to disgruntled people leaving the Republican Party altogether.

21. Because they are "true believers" and assume because God's on their side
(cough cough), they can't possibly be wrong about anything.

Even when things go horribly wrong (as they currently are) as a direct result of what they believe, it's never the fault of these proponents of taking "personal responsibility." It's always someone else's fault...the Democrats, the librul media, gay people, dissidents, fill in scapegoat here.
