On MS NBC - Charles from the Imus show is on the air???? They had Chris - Imus sports guy |
|
on the other day. I predict Imus will be back before long. In fact, I'm starting to think the whole Imus thing isn't real. Either a publicity stunt - or a token "punishment" for him. Also, I notice some announcers are starting to be muzzled here and there - which has a lot of other announcers (and me) alarmed. The punishment scares me worse that the "crime." Where does the loss of free speach start or stop.

1. how about on the public airwaves |
|
seems an appropriate place to me.
I am not sure this racist misogynistic talk has a place there.
Ever notice how C-SPAN immediately stops any caller that begins to talk of a "revolution" or a need to revolt? I think that is absolutely appropriate censorship.

2. They're WFAN Employees |
|
Only Imus & Bernard McGuirk were fired. The rest still do their morning show on WFAN Radio and probably still have agreements with MSNBC as well.
I watched a few minutes this morning until Cramer's stupidity got too much...and seemed both McCord and Collins were pretty subdued...they found out where "the line" is.

3. I'm enjoying Jim Cramer in the a.m. |
|
The guy knows his economics, and surprisingly a lot of other stuff too. Great interviews. Charles and Chris are doing what they do best and seemed less stressed without the Imus snark attacks.

IMO Cramer knows little about the economy. He's about as wishy washy as they come. Just because he shouts his message does not make it correct.

5. I agree. I'm enjoying Cramer |

He's quirky and seems to know a lot about the people he interviews
Doris Goodman was one of his profs at Harvard.
He really engages his guests
He talked about the many downsides of Ethanol
That is something we just don't hear about
Also, he blames boosh and his policies for the high gas prices
