Murkowski is shaping up to be GOP's Lieberman. |
|
First she slammed Palin, now she gives DeMint as well the Tea Party implicitly, a much-needed thrashing. http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1110/45234.html

7. Witness: Charlie Crist of FL |
|
Abandoned so quickly by Florida GOPers his head spun around like Linda Blair's. But he lost to teabagger Rubio anyway.

11. One thing she may dissent from is the new ban on earmarks |
|
She ran a lot of ads attacking Miller for wanting to do away with all earmarks and stated time and time again how she would fight for money for Alaska's projects..She is very much on record about this..I guess we will see if she flips or not..Nothing Republicans say really mean all that much because they just do what they want anyway no matter what they said.. They virtually have zero credibility..

8. At least by her past actions that is the truth. |
|
She may have had some sort of awakening but I doubt it very much. She is a Republican through and through and knows which side her bread is buttered on..

10. Maybe this latest disrespect from her party will liberate her from the party vote. |
|
Although the Republicon party discipline is remarkable, and even enviable from my side of the aisle, I would really like to see the sane wing regain some footing.

4. "she gives DeMint as well the Tea Party implicitly, a much-needed thrashing." |

The only bigger Republican weasel than Jim DeMint is the other S. Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham. Of course Jeff Sessions is also right up there on the weasel meter.

how long do you really believe her "defection" might last?
Until her earmarks to the welfare state commonly referred to as Alaska are on the table.
