Poll question: Would your DEM Rep. vote for the Iraq Funding Bill jeopardize your future support for him/her?
NOTICE: DEMS on The Hill do not take our votes for granted!

To quote Keith Olbermann:

MSNBC's Keith Olbermann took aim at both parties with regards to the war in Iraq during his "special comment" Wednesday night.

According to Olbermann, the "Democratic leadership has surrendered to a president—if not the worst president, then easily the most selfish, in our history—who happily blackmails his own people, and uses his own military personnel as hostages to his asinine demand, that the Democrats 'give the troops their money.'"

The MSNBC Countdown host even accused Democrats of "betrayal," by giving in to the president's threats that he would veto any war funds bill that included a plan for withdrawal of US troops.

"You may trot out every political cliché from the soft-soap, inside-the-beltway dictionary of boilerplate sound bites, about how this is the 'beginning of the end' of Mr. Bush’s 'carte blanche' in Iraq, about how this is a 'first step,'" Olbermann said. " Well, Senator Reid, the only end at its beginning... is our collective hope that you and your colleagues would do what is right, what is essential, what you were each elected and re-elected to do."

3. Unquestionably.
The only way such a rep could redeem themselves with me is impeachment.

9. Between Olbermann, the net-roots, and good ol phone trees...
Lets hope mmonk that those on The Hill know that we ARE WATCHING and will hold them accountable.

The time is now to do the right thing and end ANY monies for Shrub's occupation in Iraq.

7. I worked very hard to get Yarmuth elected; he is a brilliant and
well respected man and I know he will vote after great consideration of all the consequences. I will always support the dems. Haven't y'all seen the disasters in all parts of government thanks to the PUGS? They must be expunged so sense can return to politics.

8. It won't because I wouldn't support him anyway
He was originally elected amidst much fanfare but he has proven to be a DINO. He has really not done a lot to piss off anybody so he'll unquestionably be re-elected without the support of disgruntled Democrats like me. I'd never vote for a repub but I sure as hell ain't gonna vote for him either.

10. I swear
The inaction by this congress after winning back the majority after 6 years of hell has just about convinced me to join the ranks of those who don't go to the polls anymore. I mean, if this is the best we can get, why bother

11. As long as they submit to the "off the table" edict, key primary challengers
. . .will be getting my time and money.
