1. if the underwear bomber (personally, i prefer 'crotch bomber')

was flying in from europe, how was his not being stopped before he got into american air space our fault? can anyone explain this to me? he had not yet been through an american checkpoint, had he? i have never understood how it was our failure . . . unless we have tsa employees in european airports?

2. there were a couple of weird things with that case. Apparently, he had no passport and

someone in a suit had to convince airport security to let him on the plane.
