The Dems Seriously Disappointed Me On This Bill.
But in a few days, I'll get over it.

At the end of the day, they're still my Dems...

3. As an independent, I have to ask ...
... Why does a person who regards themself as a "True Blue Democrat" even pretend to follow the issues if the politicians who market themselves as "(D)" will get their support even when they don't perform?? What's the point? Is it merely to sprinkle one's "Raah! Rah!" rhetoric with references to current events? After all, it just doesn't seem to make a difference. If it does, then the 'volunteer whips' just sneer and engage in name-calling. Quite frankly, I don't get it. What use is to have an opinion?

I've been here for over five years and it seems like that's gotten to be more an more of the attitude. Now, I sure won't use DU bandwidth to express support for some opposition candidate, but I sure don't owe anyone my vote.

Sheesh! No wonder these congresscritters don't seem to give a shit.

4. democrats
i never thought for a minute that the party would stand fast on not funding the troops, the party is looking at the big picture and that is not to sabotage the 08 election with the republicans talking about how the democrats did support the troops.
