but still voting for the bill...

Thanks for perpetuating the myth that the soldiers will be left stranded without equipment if the war is de-funded, Carl... Thanks so very much...

14. Durbin is one of the most liberal. but, if he votes yes I think Obama will go that way.
They are really close and they vote alike.
Durbin is my senator and I know he is following his conscience. Levin is voting yes as well

many an e-mail only to get some unrelated response weeks/months later. I am so disappointed in him. He is my Senator and I have always (since I came back in '02) trusted him. No more...no more at all.

This is exactly the kind of rhetoric some Democrats used when they characterized Kerry-Feingold as precipitous.

This has to stop?

34. she at least has an excuse
If she voted no she'd be cooked in Louisiana...the package contains significant Katrina funding.

And at least she didn't spend her time whining about troops being without equipment and repeating other GOP lies.

37. McConnell bitching about the bill
Doesn't like the domestic spending in a military appropriation bill.

Can't have any crumbs going to the proles! Heavens no! The military has to suck up every fucking dime.
