Love on 4 paws
Just got back home from having my gallbladder removed and look who I meet on the way out. A very nice Golden Retriever. :)

4. What a beauty! Here's Hunter's bio:
"I was a Golden Retriever puppy, living on the streets of North Hollywood until my new mom found me. She named me Hunter because I would hunt birds in the dog park, rather than socialize with other dogs. Then I learned to eat dog food, and since I lived with another Golden Retriever and two Chow Chows, I learned to enjoy being with other dogs. I love tennis balls and will carry as many as I can find in my mouth. Since I also love kids more than treats, my mom knew I’d be a perfect therapy dog."

10. Yes, therapy dogs. These two help me keep my sanity.
They're both rescued Lab mixes. The white one is a 15 mo Springer-Lab, The black one is a 16 week old Lab-Golden. They go to the dog park just about every morning. Except this morning. They went to the vet after an encounter with a poisonous toad.

8. Thanks everybody.
Hunter was very friendly and playful. Very nice dog, glad to have met him.

Right now that post surgery sore feeling is getting a bit too much. Think I need to go relax a bit. Thanks again everybody.

Peace,
Xicano

and I have nothing but admiration for those who train and share them with patients everywhere.

Safe and fast recovery to you! :)

13. Had mine out exactly one year ago!
Here's something that has helped me---look up info about this surgery and life without a gallbladder on Google (or other) because there are evidently lots of people who have had it done and I've learned a lot from the web sites. LOVE the photo!
