You might cause embarrassment and some resentment by a last minute change of mind, but do not let it dissuade you if you realize you're making a mistake. Think of the heartache you might prevent by ducking out at the last moment. It's not a good thing to wait until the last minute, but sometimes the reality of it doesn't dawn on you earlier. When in doubt, even at the alter, bail the heck out.:) You won't be the first or the last.
