C'mon, you think the GOP is really going to deliver to the Tea Party on "small government"? Oh, they'll get it in some ways, when the GOP seeks to undercut social services, but the military and DHS budgets will go nowhere, the banks will get bailed out when needed, and the wealthiest will get massive tax cuts. On the other side the Democrats, cozying up to the same donor trough, screwed us on health care reform and financial reform, Obama now seeks to attack federal salaries and is (maybe?) selling out on tax cuts, torture goes on full blast, the wars never end, the guilty walk free.

And meanwhile we're so very passive...question: how many households have been ruined by Wall St? And how many windows have been broken on Wall St by angry mobs? heh. We get the government we deserve, indeed. Ted Rall's Anti-American Manifesto is starting to make a lot of sense.
