Israel responsible for WikiLeaks in anti-Turkish plot, AKP members says
Israel could have engineered the release of hundreds of thousands of confidential documents on WikiLeaks as a plot to corner Turkey on both domestic and foreign policy, according to a senior ruling party official.

“One has to look at which countries are pleased with these. Israel is very pleased. Israel has been making statements for days, even before the release of these documents,” Hüseyin Çelik, deputy leader of the Justice and Development Party, or AKP, and the party’s spokesperson, told reporters at a press conference Wednesday.

Following initial reaction to the leaked U.S. Embassy cables, which have revealed diplomatic secrets about Turkey, Azerbaijan, its Middle Eastern neighbors, Turkish officials have started to suspect that “the main cause of these leaks was to weaken the Turkish government.”

1. Sounds like a permutation of "Protocols of the Elders of Zion"
or maybe a new version of Henry Ford's "The international Jew" or a modern "Illuminati."

Israel could have dont anything. Who cares about facts.

It's greatly amusing.

Do we accept that Turkey, a country that it's fashionable to consider as right in all anti-Israeli rhetoric, is telling the truth--and that Assange is either a Zionist tool, a dupe, or a liar; or do we continue to think that Assange (doesn't "ange" mean "angel" in French?) is a Warrior Saint but that this claim against Israel must be false, and therefore Turkey is wrong in this anti-Israeli diatribe.

Because if Turkey's wrong about this, what else is it wrong about? Can we continue to take all of Turkey's anti-Israeli pronouncements as gospel? How to contain the genie of doubt, the ange of angst?

Or is Assange reduced to a butt-angel, whose motivations, suspect by some, turn out to be even more evil than possibly contemplated--Zionist!?

Why, the next thing you know a righteous victim of a country like Iran will even be saying that Assange's Great Emission is a Zionist plot. Then we either have definitive proof that the butt-angel is a Zionist tool and we've been hosed--or we have to question the infallibility of a key anti-Western, anti-imperialist agent of good precisely when their infallibility is so beyond question. Let's just hope that Iran wouldn't commit that great act of disillusionment.

Oh. Wait. Iran already did. Turkey's just playing "follow the (supreme) leader."
