Just a minute here,. The GOP ran in this past election as the
party saving SS. They promised that there would be no
changes for those Americans 55 years and above. Social
Security would remain the same. This is how they got
a lot of Senior's votes. The GOP know that their
base (rank and file Republican citizens) depend on SS
and Medicare. This is why the GOP always talk a good
game on Entitlements but when push comes to shove they
manage to skate around doing anything.

Now they made the 55 and older promise.

Democrats had best avoid being suckered into something.

It is a disgrace thet the Republicans are viewed as the
Savers of Medicare and SS.
