The discussion about tax cuts has been wrong.
These tax cuts are not for "the rich" so much as the tax cuts ARE for REPUBLICANS.
They are holding the country hostage until THEY receive a monetary benefit for themselves.
The Republicans are selfishly advocating tax cuts that will benefit nearly 100% of Republican lawmakers.
They are not worried about any "base" or any constituents. They are certainly not worried about people not making it through the holidays with food or shelter.
No, REPUBLICANS are worried that THEY will have LESS wealth as a result of paying taxes.
