Obama's actions and words make no sense if viewed in light of a President fighting for the people

.....

His actions and deeds make complete sense when viewed in the light of a politician advocating for his corporate financiers....

At this point, why are we still puzzled and wondering why he does what he does?

At this point, the discussion needs to swing to what do we DO about it...rather then trying to figure out if he is playing 100th dimensional chest. The writing is on the wall, and if we are EVER EVER EVER EVER going to have a government that is not governed by a corporately corrupted and failed democratic party or a corporately corrupted and absolutely insane republican party, we might want to start talking about it now!

1. So, which issues that you feel sold out on are you working to solve locally?

Please post links to the groups, events, projects, articles, etc. that you are working on locally to help.

I'm really interested.

Looking forward to being inspired by the good work being done out there, given the prevalence of this kind of comment.

3. sorry I don't agree. His words and actions make sense when you
step back and realize that he is the President of the United States of America, and not a wannabe dictator.

I don't agree with some of his decisions, particularly the continuing Afghan war, but I understood his stand on that before the election, and he's a damn site better than the alternative would have been.

5. You don't rise as quickly as he did without having sold your soul, if you had one to begin with.

6. To people who are actually educated about how government works, it makes perfect sense.
Obama is not responsible for YOUR lack of knowledge of reality.

13. What we're seeing here is politicians, lobbyists and corporations at work
not government

Do citizens lack a comprehensive understanding of the corruption throughout the system?

Probably.

7. One thing you can do about it right now without having a discussion
Is pick up the phone and tell the president what you want, yeah I know that sounds to simple, so lets just keep bitching to each other.

11. I call him all the time
I call my senators and my rep

In fact today I asked my rep's people why he,as a former Marine, felt it was okay to torture people.
And if he did nothing, then it must be okay for everyone to torture people.

12. Thank you. Yes I know it works, even better with large numbers
of people phoning. Frankly I,m just trying to stir people into action and not just bitching to one another.

8. It's almost like he's talking to us in hostage code
Like - if someone has an intruder in their home and they have to answer the phone or go to the door - and they say something to their called that doesn't make sense, so the caller will go, hmmmmmm. Something isn't right. I think they're being held captive by someone!
