It's Time for President Obama
to play hardball with the GOOP. They have drawn a line for their tax cuts for the rich and Obama should tell them that he will initiate an investigation on the Bush administration if they don't play ball. He has to be just as vicious as they are to win any concessions. The GOOP will not move unless they are forced.

4. Obama is on the verge of losing his base almost ENTIRELY! The RW/GOP'ers
will never like him....
Independents don't know what he stands for!
If he doesn't stand up for progressive principles--who does he
think his friends will be, exactly?

We can give up on that dream.

8. Why would he do it now?
I mean, if he would not do it when we held the House and the Senate by large majorities, why would he do it now? Could you imagine what the Republicans would have done if they held majorities like that? Sadly, we may just find out in about 25 months. This is scary.
