4. If you want to give

your friend some feedback - while I understand the motivation for using the same scale throughout, it was not relevant for some of the items and was confusing when the never answer formed a double negative. Some of the items needed to be on a agree to disagree scale rather than never to always. Also he should have asked some general job questions - as it is job satisfaction is going to be confounded with burnout.

some of the questions seem to presuppose the work day start shortly after getting out of bed.

I'm usually up for several hours before my work day starts, so those questions I probably skewed the results a bit.

14. It's really hard for me to answer

those questions because I have a number of jobs. One is freelance work and I feel completely different about doing graphics than I do the regular job I do as work from home. It burns me out.

but im 56 and the author of the test seems very young. That in itself is not bad but it manifested itself in clumsy, naive questions that had little relevance to my working life.

Maybe you could mention this to the student and help him/her make their survey more pertinent to people outside their own age group.
