Republicans lost in 2006 and 2008 "Big Time"
Yet they never once considered meeting Democrats half way. Never once..They decided they lost because they had strayed from their principles...It was a very wise choice apparently. What do Democrats do when they lose? Well for one thing it is becoming quite apparent Democrats have no principles to stand on so they just go with the flow and join the GOP in whatever they want..When you start the negotiations saying "everything is on the table".."Everything is negotiable" you already lost...No principle to stand for so what difference does it make as long as you get your pay check?

3. I think it is easy to replace the word "spine" with "principle"
Is there a single principle that Democrats/Obama are willing to fight for? I don't know..:shrug:
