The RNC is reportedly facing more than $15 million in debt, a shortfall that will require it to delay payments for outside political services and almost certainly serve as a bad omen for Chairman Michael Steele, who is currently facing a number of prospective challengers for his position -- if he decides to seek another term.

The Washington Post reported Wednesday:

"We will not be able to pay off the vendors this week," wrote RNC Chief Administrative Officer Boyd Rutherford to Derek Flowers, a member of the RNC's political team, in an email obtained by the Fix. "We will be slow in paying as we are having a cashflow challenge. Everyone will be slow paid until after the first of the year."

Flowers shortly thereafter announced that he'd be resigning from his position, effective immediately.

2. They were already morally bankrupt.
It's nice to see that their finances have followed suit.

3. Aren't They Tax Exempt?
I thought that all ANY entity (whether person, business, or political party) needed to be prosperous was freedom from the onerous burden of paying taxes. If they're tax exempt, they should be the MOST PROSPEROUS BUSINESS EVER!!! Because as you know, it's ALL about the SUPPLY SIDE. The demand side is meaningless.

"Yes, Mr. Steele? I have a Mr. Reality on Line 2. Should I put him through?"

5. Republicons luvs them to pretend they are 'conservatives'
But there is absolutely no freaking evidence of them ever conserving anything other than their inhuman tolerance for lying chickenhawks and general BS.
