If the tax cuts are extended I think it's time for ALL Dems in the House and
Senate to give in to whatever the Repugs want. Let them have their way and put them right in control and just vote yes on whatever they ask. Whatever happens will be their responsibility then. No questions, no debate just "ok". I think it would be awesome.

1. Don't kid yourself..they will still blame everything that goes wrong
on the Dems.

2. Let em do it. Then the Dems can apologize. Keep up the passive resistance til things start sliding
into the turlet.

7. The democrats have the majority in the Senate, don't they?
If democrats do cave in, then they should be blamed. They got the Senate and White House. And the tax cuts expire if nothing gets done. So let nothing get done, and the President can propose selective tax cuts later, after the tax cuts expire. The problem I see is Obama's lack of resolution to stick to his guns, he's too naive and doesn't know how to negotiate when the other side is full of hardboiled sobs.

4. Oh, I'm not saying we'll all be safe and happy, I'm just saying this
is the dose of Castor Oil that the country needs right now. We need a purgative deluxe.

8. Yeah, I understand but I still believe in that you need to stand for something and then
when it is time, you need to take that stand and fight. Something the dems seem to be afraid of. Just like for all those people who stand to lose their only lifeline left. If the dems cannot take a stand and fight for them especially when you look what the argument is, then they are a lost cause. They talk about standing up for the little guy but so far, they have not been fighting for him anymore than the republicans, just talk, complaining on talk shows, but nothing else.

You have to stand for something and fight for your beliefs if you are going to win.

9. Well I don't think this bunch of Dems has any fight left. They are only
providing excuses for the Repukes. "It's them socialists keeping us from saving you Muricans". sort of thing. Take away the excuse. Let them govern some more. They say they want to do what the people say yet they go against the majority every time. Let em feel the pressure. Ghandi would understand, I think. Jesus said turn the other cheek, too.
