Christian Minister: Muslim Congressman's Support Of 'Homosexuals' Is Part Of Sharia Plot

A Christian minister in Minnesota said on his radio program that the nation's first Muslim member of Congress was soliciting the support of the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community to implement Sharia law. Follow his logic with us, wouldn't you?

Bradlee Dean of the religious ministry You Can Run But You Cannot Hide International said on his radio program that Rep. Keith Ellison (D-MN) is only supporting LGBT rights as part of a strategy

Last I heard, Sharia law tends to frown on homosexuality just as much as the nutjob fundies do. So how on earth would supporting the GLBT "agenda" lead to the implementation of Sharia law? BTW, Keith Ellison is my most excellent congressman and somehow he's never gotten around to mentioning his nefarious mooslim sharee law plot to any of his supporters. Sneaky...

:eyes:

Here's a plausible explanation from one of the comments: "Ellison wants sharia law and that, by supporting gay rights, he'll undermine the Values 'N' Morals™ of America® more quickly. Then, when America falls apart, which is something all liberals want anyhow, Ellison can swoop in and ban pork."

 OK, now it all makes sense.

4. Sharia
This charge totally unbelievable. If anything, Sharia law would advocate for stoning of homosexuals. How twisted can the GOP's logic be?

5. They just make stuff up
the pic of Bradlee Dean looks more like a muslim than Rep. Ellison.

I doubt that they know a damned thing about sharia law. The usual shout applies--don't cloud the issue with facts! :silly:
