freeper vows to kill any lawmaker who votes to seize pensions
To: The Comedian
I’ll say it publicly right now. If they try this here I start killing people. And I’ll start with anyone who votes for it.

that it was the Bush Administration that fully set into motion all that came before it dating back to the Reagan Administration.

7. Threatening to kill a federal official is a felony punishable by up to 10 years in prison.
Perhaps the FBI should be informed?

France is the latest to seize pension assets. They follow Hungary and Ireland. There will be more. And eventually, it will come here - and when it does, you will get hosed.

There is only one way to stop it.

You, the American people, must demand that all of the bad loans that were made by banks be forced back onto them and defaulted. At the same time the government must stand back and let the adjustment take place.

Yes, this will detonate the banks. Yes, this will result in huge losses. Yes, this will result in a short-term dislocation in the economy - a really, really bad one. Yes, it will result in the collapse of home prices, bankruptcy of tens of millions of people and even more unemployment in the short term.

Again, government must do nothing more than providing emergency shelter and food to those who need it in this regard.

Government must also, at the same time, put an immediate stop to the offshoring monster through wage and environmental-parity tariffs.

15. Yes, wasn't John McCain praising Ireland during the
campaign? I believe he was praising their tax breaks for corporations? I hope European countries have now learned what Capitalism is all about and will return to their more Socialist and far better system for their citizens. Their foray into U.S. style capitalism has destroyed their economies.

18. Frankly, I think The Comedian is right.
He said:

I think he's right. Our government bailed out the banks, but have done next to nothing to bail out the people that those banks made the loans to with no regard for whether or not they could be paid for.

Lots of people are finding they are underwater on their homes, and that it could take decades before they are not. I personally know people who are just filing bankruptcy and walking away.

And I don't fault them for it. The banks were quick enough to walk away from "toxic assets" and get government money to help them out. Average people are going to do the same thing.

It is going to be a huge adjustment. Banks will collapse. Basically, what is happening is what I have said would happen for years - the global disparity in incomes is leveling itself out. As salaries rise in developing nations, they will decline here. Consequently, the cost of living will rise in developing nations, and it will have no choice but to decline here, as no one will be able to pay the premium prices of the past. We're going to return to the 1960s when cars cost $5000 and houses cost $50K. And college grads will be making $10K a year out of school.

It's already happening. When we had our house built 3 years ago the cost was $100 a square foot. Now in our same subdivision they are building for $51 a square foot - half price!

The world economy is balancing, and it's going to hurt.

Probably not. It's OK if a corporation does it.

Oh, and the TeaParty released all the home addresses and private cell phone numbers of the freshman GOPers.
