Prayers For Julian's Safety Thread |
|
I am starting this thread only for positive prayers, thoughts, energy for Julian Assange. No matter what Country you live in. No matter what personal belief you hold. I will start.
That one would risk to shine a light upon a rotten wasted world A world that suffers both environmentally and politically I am only one voice But together with other voices want to put our arms around you. I put in my heart a place for the safety of Mr. Assange

He could hide in plain sight here in North Florida just as long as he wears a Tebow jersey and jean shorts.

3. You (maybe) joke, but it is getting to the point that active, resistant actions like that are |
|
necessary. Julian is a hero and must be defended at all costs. The idea that publicly exposing things and getting into the media is a life-insurance policy no longer applies when they feel perfectly justified in assassinating anyone they want for any bullshit reason they care to make up.

7. the good thing about Information as Power is that it can spread faster than wildfire |

I've seen on twitter that each time he is about to release an info dump he sends out numerous security keys to mirror sites in the "event" that the main site goes down.
If he can get the info into a hundred hands they can get it into a hundred more then thousands more then BOOM.
(on edit) As a side note, I just got another security clearance while hiding here in plain site. The good thing about the insanely large amounts of web traffic is that there is a certain amount of anonymity amongst the garbage.

5. i will pray for his safety also |
|
i don't know enough about the case to make any judgment about the rights or wrongs of his actions but i see nothing good to come from an attack on his safety or life
bogus-looking attacks on his freedom, like the swedish "rape" case, don't exactly make his opponents look like they have a good argument to offer either
debate w. a man on the merits of his actions, don't threaten his life or freedom

11. You are my hero, Julian. May the Goddess protect you from your enemies. |
|
I understand that your goal is nothing less than the destruction of the secret government that has tyrannized the human race for so long. May you live to accomplish that goal, and see the whole evil, rotten structure come crashing down.

21. Definitely rooting for the good guy. He has already done so much |
|
good by releasing information the American people have a right to. Such as the fact that our President, while lying about his position on torture, was actively helping to protect Bush torturers from prosecution in Spain. We now know how much pressure was placed on that courageous judge, currently being persecuted, as is Assange, for trying to protect this world from torturers and other war criminals.
I'm sure he anticipated what is happening. He is not a fool and knew the danger of lifting the curtain on what this government has been doing, among others.
It will be interesting to see what China and Russia's reaction to him are. A smart government would not make a martyr of him.
